Step-By-Step Installation Guide

Step 1

Count the treads and divide by 7 for your spacing.

Step 2

Hold the inner C-Clamp.

Step 3

Slide inner C-Clamp onto the inner side of the track until snug. If needed, use a mallet or pry bar to make sure it is snug. This needs to be snug to ensure you have enough slack to properly align the bolt in the outer C-Clamp.

Step 4

Hold the outer C-Clamp

Step 5

Slide the inner C-Clamp onto the outer side of the track. Align the bolt into the hex nut. Hand tighten to start the threads.

Step 5b

Do Not cross thread the bolt and the hex nut! The C-Clamp can be offset at this point. It will compress in the next step.

Step 6

After you have hand tightened a few threads, finish tightening with the tool of your choice. Do Not use an impact drill

Step 7

Chains For Track Skid Steer Chains

Once all 7 chains are properly spaced, aligned, and tightened (snug across the track) on each track, and you have double-checked the clearance between the machine and the chains, you are finished.
