In 2022, James Hamblin and his family founded Chains for Tracks, Inc., inspired by a challenging experience in snowy McCall, Idaho. After retiring our wheeled skid steer and acquiring a tracked skid steer, we quickly discovered the difficulty of operating it in snowy conditions. Despite extensive searching, James found no existing solutions on the market that met our needs. Determined, he embarked on a journey to design a solution himself.
In his shop, James meticulously crafted a set of chains specifically for our new tracked machine. Through numerous prototypes and rigorous trials, he successfully developed and refined the Chains For Tracks. This innovation, initially popular within our local community, has now evolved into a product we are excited to share.
